Optimal performance of the FOX SL – SLX Series In-Line Tubular Diaphragm Pulsation Damper is achieved by respecting specific compression parameters. <\/span>The compression ratio recommended by the manufacturer is P2\/P0=2.5 <\/span><\/span>, while the maximum tolerated limit is set at P2\/P0=10<\/span><\/span>. <\/span>It is essential to consider that the mechanical life of the component, expressed in number of cycles, is inversely proportional to the increase in the applied compression ratio<\/span><\/span>. <\/span>For correct use as a damper, the nitrogen pre-charge pressure must be strictly maintained between 60% and 80% of the working pressure<\/span><\/span>. <\/span>This calibration must take into account the type of pump installed and the operating temperature values<\/span><\/span>. <\/span>The standard nitrogen valve supplied is listed in the catalogue as %” UNF<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n
