The SF Geco piston motor<\/strong> is a fixed displacement hydraulic motor with axial pistons, designed for applications requiring uniform, quiet, and constant rotation even at low speeds. It features a patented static distribution system that feeds two opposing pistons per cylinder, ensuring continuous and smooth motion. The contact between pistons and multilobe cams is made via a hydrostatically suspended ball that converts motion into rolling, drastically reducing friction and increasing efficiency.<\/p>\n

Technical specifications<\/h4>\n

The SF series covers a wide displacement range from 49 cm\u00b3 to 494 cm\u00b3 per revolution. The SF-50 to SF-200 versions are equipped with an 8 mm diameter shaft and reduced weight (from 10 to 40 kg), while models from SF-300 to SF-500 use a 32 mm shaft with weight ranging from 68 to 110 kg, ensuring greater robustness for more demanding applications.<\/p>\n

The maximum continuous operating pressure is 140 bar, with torque values proportional to displacement: for example, the SF-200 model delivers 40 kgm at 140 bar. The rotation speed ranges from a minimum of 10 rpm to a maximum between 300 and 500 rpm depending on the model.<\/p>\n

Mechanical architecture and available versions<\/h4>\n

All models are available in the hollow shaft<\/strong> version (standard), but can also be supplied with cylindrical shaft (single or double output) or 26 UNI 221 splined shaft (only for models from 50 to 200 cm\u00b3). This allows for high installation flexibility, including mounting on a single common shaft for multiple motors.<\/p>\n

The design ensures instantaneously reversible rotation<\/strong>, even in freewheel mode, simply by reversing inlet and outlet flow. In addition, the motor can be installed in any position, provided that the housing remains full of oil during operation.<\/p>\n

The SF Geco piston motor is used in numerous industrial sectors, including plastic molding presses, machine tools, agricultural equipment, mixers, and conveyor belt systems, thanks to its compact size, low noise, and high energy efficiency.<\/p>\n
