The Berarma PHP Pumps<\/strong> are variable-displacement vane pumps with a hydraulic pressure compensator<\/strong>. The maximum flow rate depends on displacement and rotational speed; the operating pressure<\/strong> depends on the system pressure losses. When the set pressure<\/strong> is reached, the pump adjusts the flow to the circuit demand down to zero, keeping the pressure nearly constant; at zero flow it delivers only the oil required to compensate leakages and pilot controls.<\/p>\n

    The PHP pumps<\/strong> are variable-displacement vane pumps with high operating pressure and a hydraulic pressure control device that allows the delivered flow to be instantly adjusted according to the circuit’s requirements.<\/p>\n

    Variable-displacement vane pumps are volumetric pumps; therefore, they deliver a maximum flow rate equal to their displacement multiplied by the rotational speed. The operating pressure is determined by the pressure losses that the fluid encounters along its path through the system.<\/p>\n

    When the delivery pressure (in the system) equals the pump’s set pressure, the delivered flow adjusts to the values required by the system; once this value is reached, the pump reduces its flow down to zero, maintaining the pressure almost constant.
