The MP Filter LMD 400-401-431 Series is a low- and medium-pressure duplex filter designed to ensure operational continuity. It allows replacement of the filter element without shutting down the system, making it ideal for applications where machine downtime causes high costs or safety issues. It offers a maximum flow rate of 600 l/min and an operating pressure of up to 16 bar. Built with anodized aluminum head and body, it ensures high reliability. Available with in-line connections, compact design, and base mounting.
The low- and medium-pressure duplex filters handle a maximum working pressure of up to 1.6 MPa (16 bar) and a maximum flow rate of 600 l/min. The core of the system is the integrated changeover function, which allows replacement of the filter element without requiring system shutdown. The system includes a balancing valve to equalize pressure inside the filter body before changeover and a steel bypass valve with a standard opening pressure of 0.35 MPa (3.5 bar).
For the safe removal of fluid before maintenance operations, the unit is equipped with drain ports. Vent ports prevent trapped air from entering the hydraulic system. Clogging monitoring is ensured through compatibility with visual, electrical, and electronic differential pressure indicators. The test pressure is guaranteed at 2.4 MPa (24 bar), with a minimum burst pressure of 4.8 MPa (48 bar) and fatigue resistance tested for 1,000,000 cycles.
The structure uses anodized aluminum for both the head and the filter body, ensuring strength and optimized weight. The manifolds are made of black-painted steel, while the 3-way ball valve features a steel body and a stainless steel ball. Standard seals are made of FPM (series V), suitable for operating temperatures ranging from -25°C to +110°C.
The series is divided into three main configurations, all equipped with 2 1/2″ flanged connections:
The MP Filter LMD 400-401-431 Series supports a wide range of filter elements, with flow direction from outside to inside (OUT to IN). Filter media options include inorganic microfiber (3, 6, 10, 16, 25 µm) for fine filtration, wire mesh (25, 60, 90 µm), resin-impregnated paper (10, 25 µm), and absorbent microfiber for removing free water from hydraulic fluid (25 µm). The standard series N filter element supports a differential pressure of 20 bar.
As they are connected directly to system lines through hydraulic fittings, these duplex filters are used in critical industrial sectors. They represent the technical solution for systems where shutdown causes high costs or creates safety issues. Filters in the 400-401-431 series are designed for vertical mounting.
