Designed for low and medium-pressure systems, the MP LDP Series Filter (and its duplex variant LDD) supports working pressures up to 60 bar and maximum flow rates up to 360 l/min. Equipped with filter elements compliant with DIN 24550 standards, it ensures absolute protection of components in hydraulic circuits and machine tools. Featuring female threaded connections up to 1 1/2″, vertical mounting, and a bypass valve, it guarantees extreme reliability.
The LDP series filters and their duplex variant LDD represent the ideal technical solution for the pressure lines in low and medium-pressure systems. Supporting a maximum working pressure of 6 MPa (60 bar) and handling flow rates up to 360 l/min, these components are essential for protecting sensitive elements within industrial equipment, machine tools, and mobile machines.
The LDP series consists of single filters with high versatility, ideal for filtering cooling fluid in machine tools and for off-line filtration within small tanks. On the other hand, the LDD series offers a duplex configuration with an integrated changeover function. This architecture allows the filter element to be replaced without shutting down the hydraulic system, making the LDD filter an indispensable component in applications where machine downtime causes high operational costs or safety issues. The LDD model includes a balancing valve integrated into the changeover lever to equalize the pressure in the body before the directional switch. It also features vent ports to prevent air from entering the system and drain ports to remove fluid before maintenance operations.
Designed for inline installation and strictly vertical mounting, the filters feature a body engineered to withstand intensive work cycles. The head is made of aluminum, while the housing (bowl) is constructed from cataphoretic coated steel, ensuring structural strength. The bypass valve, which opens at 0.35 MPa (3.5 bar) ±10%, is made from AISI 304 stainless steel and polyamide. Testing parameters confirm a test pressure of 90 bar, a burst pressure of 180 bar, and a fatigue test of 1,000,000 cycles (from 0 to 60 bar).
The filter media are developed according to the strict DIN 24550 standard. The fluid flows through the element from the outside to the inside (OUT to IN). Various types of media are available: inorganic microfiber, absorbent microfiber for free water removal, metal wire mesh, and resin-impregnated paper. For instrumental efficiency monitoring, the infrastructure supports differential clogging indicators, available in visual, electrical, and electronic versions.
The standard operating temperature range is from -25°C to +110°C, using NBR seals (Series A) or optionally FPM seals (Series V). Optimal hydraulic performance is achieved with fluids having a kinematic viscosity of 30 mm²/s and a density of 0.86 kg/dm³. The LDP series offers female threaded connections up to 1 1/2″, while the LDD series supports both threaded and flanged connections up to 1 1/2″, covering sizes 016, 025, and 040.
