Miselli XL / XLT / XLT-PLAST Series Vertical Level Indicator
The Miselli XL / XLT / XLT-PLAST Series Vertical Level Indicator is ideal for hydraulic and fuel tanks. Made of ultrasonically welded polyamide resin, it effectively withstands oils up to 90°C. It ensures reliable hydraulic sealing through rear NBR 70 Shore gaskets. The series includes advanced models with thermometer (XLT), external metal or PA66 protections, as well as specialized variants for alcohol-based and corrosive fluids. Easy installation with a recommended tightening torque of 3 Nm.
Miselli XL / XLT / XLT-PLAST Series Vertical Level Indicator
The Miselli XL / XLT / XLT-PLAST Series Vertical Level Indicator is an essential technical component for visual monitoring in modern hydraulic systems. The main body is molded using high-quality transparent polyamide resin, developed to ensure excellent mechanical performance in industrial environments. The two half-shells forming the sight glass are firmly joined באמצעות an advanced ultrasonic welding process, ensuring long-lasting airtight sealing. Inside the transparent plastic body, there is a white lacquered aluminum plate with clear minimum and maximum level markings, facilitating visual inspection. The screws and flanged nuts supplied for installation are made of bright zinc-plated steel, ensuring a strong structural fastening.
The indicator is thoroughly tested and suitable for use with a wide range of fluids, including synthetic oils, mineral oils, diesel, and certain types of gasoline. The recommended maximum continuous operating temperature is 90°C, tested at an operating pressure of 1 bar, while the working range extends down to -30°C. It is essential to avoid direct or prolonged contact with alcohol, cleaning liquids containing alcohol-based substances, and high-temperature coolant fluids, as these may alter and compromise the mechanical integrity of the plastic material.
The entire range is carefully structured to meet various application and environmental protection requirements:
Installation is highly versatile for technicians. It can be performed externally on the tank by creating two M10 or M12 threaded holes, or internally using the supplied flanged nuts through through-holes ranging from 10.5 mm to 12.5 mm in diameter, ensuring no chamfers or residual burrs are present. Rear hydraulic sealing is optimally ensured by flat NBR 70 Shore gaskets and O-rings. It is strongly recommended not to exceed a maximum tightening torque of 3 Nm to prevent structural damage to the mounting points. Designed for dedicated installation on hydraulic tanks and power units, this accessory is crucial for machine safety. The use of corrosion-resistant materials, such as AISI 303 stainless steel screws available for PLAST versions, further extends its use in highly aggressive environments.
