The polyamide resin used in the CF series provides excellent mechanical strength and chemical resistance. However, to preserve the structural integrity of the component, it is essential to avoid contact with alcohol, alcohol-based detergents, and coolant fluids.
Thermal operating limits vary depending on the series. The LSB series is tested for continuous operation up to 100°C, while the CF series supports temperatures up to 70°C. The hydraulic sealing system of LSB models uses a flat washer gasket made of FASIT 202 asbestos-free fiber. CF models, alternatively, can be supplied with a specific oil-resistant synthetic rubber O-ring (versions OR/2 and OR/3).
During installation, it is essential to follow the specified tightening torques (Nm) to prevent damage to the plastic threads. For example, the LSB/38 model (G 3/8″) requires a tightening torque of 10 Nm. The LSB/34 (G 3/4″) requires 25 Nm, while the top model LSB/1 (G 1″) must be tightened to 30 Nm to properly compress the fiber gasket. External diameters correspond to thread sizes, ranging from 22 mm for the LSB/38 model up to 102 mm for the GF/3 iron ring, ensuring modularity and precision in every design application.
