Description
The Miselli Closing Cap TCNB Series is a threaded component specifically designed to minimize external installation dimensions, thanks to its recessed hexagon design. The standard version of this cap is made of Polyamide 66 (PA66) integrated with a 30% glass fiber filler. This specific material composition has been selected to provide the component with greater mechanical resistance, allowing stable performance at both high and low temperatures.
Thermal Specifications and Sealing Gaskets
In terms of thermal performance, the standard configuration ensures continuous use at temperatures up to 100°C, while tolerating maximum peaks up to 120°C. The primary sealing system involves the installation of a flat washer gasket made of FASIT 202 fiber. Depending on the specific needs of the hydraulic circuit, an NBR 70 Shore O-Ring can be fitted upon request. Furthermore, all TCNB series models can be supplied directly with a flat gasket in 70 Shore NBR rubber; to obtain this specific technical variant, simply add the suffix “/G” to the product identification code.
Special High-Resistance Version
To meet the needs of the most demanding industrial applications, the line includes a special version made of Polyamide 6 (PA6) with glass fiber filler increased to 50% and heat-stabilized. The use of this variant is strongly recommended in all installations requiring high structural rigidity, high deformation resistance, and strong sealing capacity against mechanical stress. The thermal profile of this special version is superior, guaranteeing a maximum operating temperature of 120°C continuously and the ability to withstand thermal peaks up to 150°C.
Dimensions, Installation and Tightening
The dimensional range widely covers the standard connections of the hydraulic sector. Versions with Gas thread range from G1/4″ to G3/4″, while metric thread variants range from M14x1.5 to M26x1.5. To correctly carry out installation operations, technicians must use standard hex keys, paying close attention to the tightening torque values (expressed in Nm) specified for each diameter and material. For example, the required tightening values increase proportionally according to the thread size and when switching from the standard 30% glass fiber version to the special 50% version.
