The Miselli Filling Plug Series TCSA – TCSF is designed to ensure efficiency and safety in hydraulic systems. Made of Polyamide 66, it offers dimensional stability and excellent resistance to temperatures from -30°C to +100°C. It is equipped with a breather hole, an oil splash guard for protection against oil splashes, and a polyurethane foam air filter (in the TCSF version) to block external impurities. Includes FASIT 202 fiber gasket.
Proper pressure management and fluid protection are critical elements in the design and maintenance of hydraulic tanks. The Miselli Filling Plug Series TCSA – TCSF represents an integrated, high-performance solution that combines oil filling, venting, and air filtration functions. Developed specifically for hydraulic component accessories, this threaded plug with hexagonal head ensures continuous, safe, and efficient operation for hydraulic circuits.
The main body of the component is made entirely of an advanced thermoplastic material, specifically Polyamide 66. The use of this particular engineering polymer guarantees excellent mechanical strength, excellent dimensional stability, and high impact resistance. The standard supply includes a black color finish. For quick identification during checks and maintenance topping-up operations, the oil filling graphic symbol, clearly accompanied by the wording “OIL”, is engraved as standard on the upper portion of the hexagonal head.
The engineering of the plug includes a breather hole positioned laterally with respect to the hexagonal head, with a useful diameter ranging from 2 to 3.5 mm depending on the model. To ensure maximum system safety, especially during the most dynamic work cycles, the models are equipped with an oil splash guard press-fitted below the thread. This essential technical feature protects the breather hole by isolating it in situations where occasional splashes caused by rapidly sloshing oil occur.
Airborne contamination is one of the main causes of premature wear and failure in hydraulic circuits. Unlike the basic TCSA version, the TCSF variant raises safety standards by including a dedicated air filter. Made of polyurethane foam and securely inserted inside the plug, this filtering element actively intercepts and blocks dust and other external impurities, preventing the air drawn in during level variation cycles from contaminating the fluid in the tank.
These plugs are rigorously tested to operate in demanding conditions, offering maximum stability and supporting an operating temperature range from a minimum of -30°C up to a maximum peak of +100°C. Perfect hydraulic sealing at the base is ensured by a flat washer gasket made of special FASIT 202 fiber. During assembly procedures, it is essential to respect the recommended tightening torque (Nm) in order to preserve the mechanical integrity of the gasket and the thermoplastic thread.
