The FOX CRE – CREX Series Fixing Clamp is a structural component designed to ensure optimal installation and fastening of accumulators within hydraulic systems. In hydraulic circuits, accumulator control and management require supports capable of withstanding continuous stress; this series meets that need by offering robust fastening for fluid contamination control.

Material Specifications and Construction

The series stands out for the use of sheet metal with a metal thickness strictly calibrated at 3 mm, giving the structure significant rigidity. The standard model, CRE Series, is made of galvanized steel, which provides effective protection against oxidation under conventional operating conditions. For industrial contexts with high chemical or saline exposure, where superior corrosion resistance is required, the CREX model in stainless steel is available upon request.

Both versions are always supplied complete with rubber support rings. This technical detail is essential: the rubber seal positioned between the clamp and the accumulator absorbs operating vibrations, limiting friction-related issues and ensuring firm locking without wearing the metal surface of the tank. The support base width is 30 mm, with 9×18 mm anchoring slots.

Dimensional Range

The versatility of the line is reflected in the availability of multiple models, designed to cover standard diameters. The catalogue sizes include versions 70, 92, 100, 115, 125 and 138. The internal clamping diameter dimension (D) varies proportionally: it starts from a minimum diameter of 68-70 mm for model 70, up to 136-138 mm for variant 138. The total longitudinal dimension (L) extends from 99 mm for the most compact model to 215 mm for the largest size, promoting uniform load distribution on the support structure.
