The FOX CRO – CROX Series Fixing Clamp is a fundamental component for the correct positioning and anchoring of accumulators within hydraulic circuits. The series stands out for its structural robustness and engineering precision, meeting the strict requirements of professionals in the fluid power and industrial automation sectors.
Function and Main Application
Accumulator installation requires supports capable of withstanding the mechanical stresses and vibrations typical of hydraulic systems. The FOX CRO – CROX Series Fixing Clamp has been expressly designed to perform this task, ensuring stable and long-lasting fastening. Each element in the series is supplied complete with the relevant rubber support rings. These rings play a crucial role in ensuring perfect adhesion to the accumulator surface, damping dynamic loads, preventing damage and ensuring optimal locking of the component.
Construction Features and Materials
The construction quality of the FOX range is highlighted by the rigorous choice of materials. The standard CRO Series version is made of galvanized steel, a material that provides excellent strength and ensures long service life under typical industrial operating conditions. All clamps feature a metal thickness of 3 mm, a technical parameter that ensures excellent structural rigidity and prevents deformation under load. For applications in particularly aggressive environments or where higher stainless-steel standards are required, the CROX Series is available. This variant is made entirely of stainless steel upon request, offering outstanding performance against oxidation and external agents.
Dimensional Flexibility and Available Models
The CRO – CROX clamp line is structured to cover a wide range of sizes, adapting to extremely varied accumulator diameters. The model range spans from the version for 68-73 mm diameters, model 70, up to versions for large diameters of 248-259 mm, model 250. In addition, to ensure maximum system versatility, the manufacturer provides the possibility of requesting special dimensions, allowing the clamp to be adapted to non-standard layouts and configurations. The distance between the fixing points is variable to facilitate assembly, with minimum and maximum center-distance dimensions, P min and P max, clearly defined for each model; for example, an adjustable center distance from 100 mm to 136 mm for models up to 168. This flexibility allows installation on different types of bases or frames.
