STAUFF Clamp Body for Multiple Weld Plates (Type MGR – Standard Series)
The hydraulic anchoring system is based on the use of the STAUFF Clamp Body for Multiple Weld Plates (Type MGR – Standard Series). This specific component is engineered to ensure rigid and secure clamping of industrial tubing. The modular design is intended exclusively for installation in combination with multiple weld plates, known as Type RAP-MGR. The combined use of these elements enables the parallel installation of numerous hydraulic lines on a single structural base. A key technical advantage of the system lies in its standardisation: the RAP-MGR plate is designed to accommodate both Standard Series STAUFF Group 2 clamp bodies, for tubes from 8 mm to 18 mm, and STAUFF Group 5 clamp bodies (Type MGR). This cross-compatibility makes it possible to secure tubes with diameters ranging from 8 mm to 42 mm using a single plate type and sharing all metal hardware, such as screws and cover plates.
The clamp body (Type MGR) belongs to STAUFF Group 5 and consists of two symmetrical halves that securely clamp the tube. The supported tube outside diameter (O.D.) range extends from 20 mm to 42 mm, covering a wide variety of standard sizes. In dimensional terms, each Group 5 clamp has a length (L1) of 71 mm, a hole spacing (L2) of 52 mm and an overall width of 30 mm. The height of the assembled component (H) is 58 mm, with a minimum S dimension of 0.8 mm. Standard moulding materials include Polypropylene, identified by its green colour (material code PP-MGR), and Polyamide, available in black (material code PA-MGR), which provide different thermal and chemical tolerances for industrial circuits.
RAP-MGR weld plates form the backbone of the multiple fastening system. Each plate is 4 mm thick (dimension S), 30 mm wide (dimension B) and has a total weld nut height of 6.5 mm (dimension H).
