STAUFF Profiled Clamp Body (Heavy Series)
The STAUFF Profiled Clamp Body (Heavy Series) is designed for the secure and robust fastening of rigid pipes in high-pressure hydraulic systems, in accordance with DIN 3015, Part 2. Thanks to its profiled inner surface with tension clearance, it provides excellent vibration damping and noise reduction, while ensuring high resistance to weathering and extreme operating conditions.
The product family codes include the series from 3S to 12S (e.g. 3006-, 4025-, 5038-, 6060.3-, 7076.1-, 8114-, 9168-, 10219-, 11273-, 12406-, where the suffix indicates the material: PP, PP-BK, PA, SA or AL).
The STAUFF Profiled Clamp Body (Heavy Series) is the ideal solution for the secure and reliable installation of rigid pipes in hydraulic and industrial systems subject to high mechanical loads. Designed in accordance with DIN 3015, Part 2, this component ensures superior mechanical retention and optimal pipe protection even under the most demanding operating conditions.
The profiled inner surface, featuring dedicated tension clearance, ensures firm clamping while preventing axial movement of the pipe without damaging its surface. The construction design provides effective vibration damping and substantial structural noise reduction, helping to protect the entire circuit and improve the working environment.
Each clamp body consists of two identical halves and is available in a wide range of advanced technical materials to meet specific temperature and chemical compatibility requirements:
Special flame-retardant material formulations are available upon request, tested and approved in accordance with major international fire-protection standards such as BS 6853, EN 45545-2 and UL 94.
The STAUFF Profiled Clamp Body (Heavy Series) covers a wide range of metric and imperial pipe outside diameters, from 6 mm up to 406 mm / 16 inches, divided into STAUFF Groups 3S to 12S, corresponding to DIN Groups 1 to 10. These components are used for rigid hydraulic pipes, copper tubing in accordance with ASTM B88 and pipework carrying gas or high-pressure fluids.
