Description

The STAUFF Cover Plate DPL is an essential technical component for the secure and durable installation of clamp bodies belonging to the Light Series with twin-pipe configuration, also known as Twin Design. Within complex fluid, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, this element acts as a structural upper closing plate, ensuring optimum and even distribution of the clamping force on pipes, flexible hoses or rigid conduits.

The standard plate model is identified by the suffix and material code W3, which indicates that the component is manufactured entirely from carbon steel and subsequently treated with a zinc/nickel-plated surface finish. The physical dimensions of the component vary proportionally according to the specific group selected for installation: the overall length, identified as dimension L4, ranges from a minimum of 29.5 mm for Group 1 components up to 63.5 mm for Group 4 components. At the same time, the plate width, indicated as B2, varies within a very narrow range from 15.5 mm to 16 mm. A technical detail that supports mounting standardisation is the diameter of the holes provided for the fastening bolts (dimension Ø D4), which remains constant throughout the entire range at 6.8 mm.
