The plate thickness, indicated by dimension “S” in the technical drawings, is precisely set at 3 mm for all dimensional groups included in the catalogue, ensuring the right balance between compact dimensions and structural strength.

Dimensional Groups and Compatibility

The range is designed for use with multiple sizes, specifically STAUFF Groups 1 to 3 and the corresponding 1D, 2D and 3D versions. The geometric dimensions vary according to the group: for example, the overall length (L1) ranges from 35 mm for Group 1 up to 47 mm for Group 3D, while the width (B) remains constant at 30 mm, ensuring a perfect fit with the corresponding clamp systems. The plate features holes (D = 9 mm) suitable for accommodating threaded fastening elements. The standard configuration (thread code M8/U5/16) is designed to accommodate either ISO Metric M8 bolts or Unified Coarse 5/16-18 UNC bolts.

Connection and Mounting Components

Optimum fastening of the STAUFF Cover Plate LBBU-DP requires the use of Type AS Hexagon Head Bolts, compliant with DIN 931 / 933 or ANSI / ASME B18.2.1 standards. Mounting Types and Bolt Variants

Correct installation of the plate depends directly on the selected base system. For applications using the LBBU-SP Weld Plate or SM-2-5D rail nuts, the lengths of the hexagon head bolts (L) vary according to the group (from 25 mm up to 45 mm for standard metric threads). If direct panel mounting (PM) is selected, without the use of the lower weld plate or rail nut, the required bolts have different lengths, ranging from 30 mm up to 50 mm, to compensate for the different installation dimensions. This combination versatility makes the STAUFF Cover Plate LBBU-DP a flexible and extremely reliable solution for managing hydraulic anchoring systems.
