Complete Aegi Twin Series Clamps provide an advanced mechanical fastening system designed for the installation and stabilisation of parallel pipework in hydraulic and industrial systems. Available for outside diameters from 6 mm to 42 mm, these components cover size groups from DIN 1 to DIN 5. The standard configuration of a complete clamp includes a lower weld plate (ADPIN), two clamp halves (AD…S) enclosing the pipes, an upper plate (ADPS) and a hexagon head screw (ADVTE) for structural fastening.

Construction Features and Clamp Body Materials

The core of the fastening system consists of the clamp halves, developed in three different polymer and rubber compounds to suit specific operating conditions and ensure maximum control of fluid and acoustic contamination:

• Polypropylene (AD Series): Ideal for standard system applications, offering high mechanical strength and rigidity.
• Self-Extinguishing Polyamide (MD Series): Designed for installations subject to stringent fire safety regulations, providing structural flame-retardant properties.
• Rubber (RD Series): Formulated for applications with high pulsation frequencies, maximising vibration absorption and reducing noise pollution along hydraulic lines.

The clamp bodies (AD…C) are available with two different profiles: smooth inner surface (Type H) for uniform grip without damaging the pipe surface, and profiled inner surface (Standard Type) for increased axial retention under high-pressure conditions.

Additional Components and Alternative Fastening Systems

The modular system of Complete Aegi Twin Series Clamps allows configuration with additional elements for complex installations. For mounting on mounting rails (ABINS with a thickness of 2 mm), dedicated hexagon nuts (ADESD) are used in place of the traditional weld plate. Serial installations are facilitated by the use of multiple lower plates (ADPIM), which support up to 5 clamp groups on the same structural base.

Safety and Fastening Variants

In applications subject to severe dynamic stresses and pull-out loads, the standard clamp can be reinforced by using the safety upper plate (APMRSD). This element requires the coordinated use of an extended hexagon head screw (ADVTEA), thereby providing greater resistance to axial tensile loads and maintaining pipework coaxiality even under extreme pressure peaks.
