The STAUFF Profiled Clamp Body (Twin Series) ensures secure pipe installation in accordance with DIN 3015, Part 3. The two clamp halves provide environmental protection while reducing system noise and vibrations. The profiled design with tension clearance is recommended for rigid pipes, while the smooth Type H version without tension clearance is optimised for cables and flexible hoses. It provides excellent weathering resistance even under extreme conditions.
The available product codes include the entire Twin Series family for Groups 1D to 5D (e.g. 106/06–*, 212.7/12.7–, 325/25–, 430/30–*, 542/42–*).
The STAUFF Profiled Clamp Body (Twin Series) is a tested, proven and reliable solution developed for the secure fastening of pipework across various industrial sectors. The Twin Series is designed in strict accordance with the international DIN 3015, Part 3 standard. Each clamp body consists of two separate clamp halves that ensure a firm grip and precise alignment of hydraulic lines. These components provide a high level of environmental protection thanks to a design specifically engineered to reduce vibrations and operating noise within hydraulic systems. The complete system is compatible with all of the most commonly used pipe outside diameters on the market.
To meet different installation requirements, the component is available in two main design configurations. The Profiled Design features a profiled inner surface with tension clearance. This technical geometry is specifically recommended for the secure installation and optimum fastening of rigid pipes. Alternatively, the Type H version features a completely smooth inner surface without tension clearance. Type H is the recommended technical solution for the secure installation of flexible hoses and cables, preventing damage to the outer sheath during fastening. Both designs offer excellent weathering resistance, ensuring optimum and long-lasting performance even when exposed to extreme environmental conditions.
The clamp bodies are manufactured from various standard plastic materials to suit different chemical and thermal requirements. Polypropylene (PP) is available both in the classic green colour (material codes PP for the profiled design and PP-H for the smooth Type H) and in a black version (codes PP-BK and PP-H-BK). For applications requiring different mechanical properties, Polyamide (PA) is available in black (codes PA for the profiled design and PA-H for Type H). For installations subject to stringent fire safety regulations, special flame-retardant materials are available upon request. These special clamp body materials are tested and approved in accordance with various international fire protection standards, including BS 6853, EN 45545-2 and UL 94.
The Twin Series is divided into five main dimensional groups to cover a wide range of outside diameters (O.D.), expressed in both millimetres and inches. Group 1D accommodates diameters from 6 mm to 12 mm. Group 2D accommodates pipework from 12.7 mm to 18 mm. Group 3D is designed for sizes ranging from 19 mm to 25.4 mm. Group 4D covers diameters from 26.9 mm to 30 mm. Finally, Group 5D completes the range for outside diameters from 32 mm to 42 mm. Additional outside diameters or combinations of different diameters within the same Twin Series are available upon specific technical request.
