The STAUFF Cover Plate for Double Clamps (Type DPAS – Heavy Series) is an essential technical component for the secure fastening of rigid pipes and flexible hoses in high-pressure hydraulic systems. Designed and manufactured in strict accordance with DIN 3015, Part 2, this plate ensures optimum retention of double clamps, preventing vibration and structural failure even under the most demanding operating conditions. • W2: Carbon Steel, phosphated. Provides standard protection against surface oxidation and is frequently used in standardised supply options (as in the case of code DPAS-3S-W2).
• W3: Zinc/Nickel-Plated Carbon Steel. Ensures high corrosion resistance, making it suitable for more exposed industrial environments.
• W4: V2A Stainless Steel (1.4301/1.4305 – AISI 304/303). Offers excellent chemical and moisture resistance, ideal for applications in aggressive environments.
• W5: V4A Stainless Steel (1.4401/1.4571 – AISI 316/316 Ti). Provides maximum protection against weathering and chemical fluids, making it the preferred choice for offshore sectors and complex systems.

Dimensional Specifications and Groups

The component is highly scalable and available in multiple dimensional variants to accommodate different pipe centre spacings. The range fully covers STAUFF Groups 3S to 12S (corresponding to DIN Groups 1 to 10). Dimensions increase proportionally according to the selected group, while maintaining plate thickness (S) and hole diameters (Ø D) calculated to withstand the typical stresses of the Heavy Series. As a reference, the smallest group (3S) has a length (L1) of 55 mm, a width (B1) of 60 mm and a thickness of 8 mm; at the opposite end of the range, the largest group (12S) reaches an overall length of 630 mm, a width of 361 mm and a thickness of 30 mm, designed for anchoring exceptionally large pipework.
