STAUFF Extended Weld Plate for Double Clamps (Type SPAS-DUEB – Heavy Series)
The STAUFF Extended Weld Plate for Double Clamps (Type SPAS-DUEB – Heavy Series) is designed for the secure installation of hydraulic pipework subjected to high loads and vibrations. Compliant with DIN 3015 (Part 2), this series covers STAUFF Groups 3S to 12S. It provides an extended high-strength base, ISO Metric or UNC thread variants, and different material options ranging from carbon steel to V2A and V4A stainless steel for demanding industrial applications. The available standard family product codes are: SPAS-DUEB-3S-M-W2, SPAS-DUEB-3S-U-W2, SPAS-DUEB-4S-M-W2, SPAS-DUEB-4S-U-W2, SPAS-DUEB-5S-M-W2, SPAS-DUEB-5S-U-W2, SPAS-DUEB-6S-M-W2, SPAS-DUEB-6S-U-W2, SPAS-DUEB-7S-M-W2, SPAS-DUEB-7S-U-W2, SPAS-DUEB-8S-M-W1, SPAS-DUEB-8S-U-W1, SPAS-DUEB-9S-M-W1, SPAS-DUEB-9S-U-W1, SPAS-DUEB-10S-M-W1, SPAS-DUEB-10S-U-W1, SPAS-DUEB-11S-M-W1, SPAS-DUEB-11S-U-W1, SPAS-DUEB-12S-M-W1, SPAS-DUEB-12S-U-W1.
STAUFF Extended Weld Plate for Double Clamps (Type SPAS-DUEB – Heavy Series)
The STAUFF Extended Weld Plate for Double Clamps (Type SPAS-DUEB – Heavy Series) is a fundamental component for the rigid and secure fastening of pipework in high-pressure hydraulic systems. Specifically designed to accommodate double clamps, this plate ensures stable anchoring to the base structure by welding, minimising vibrations and preventing structural damage to hydraulic lines. Its extended design provides a larger support and welding surface, increasing the mechanical retention of the complete assembly. The component is developed in strict accordance with DIN 3015, Part 2, which governs the requirements for the Heavy Series.
The SPAS-DUEB Series covers a wide range of sizes, making it suitable for different pipe sections. The plates are classified according to STAUFF Groups ranging from 3S to 12S, corresponding to DIN Groups 1 to 10. Depending on the selected group, the geometric dimensions (identified by parameters L1, L2, L3, B1, B2, S, and H) vary proportionally to support progressively higher loads. The dimensional design includes threaded holes prepared for the installation of the clamp bodies and corresponding cover plates. The thickness (S) and width (B1) are dimensioned to withstand the extreme shear and tensile forces typical of heavy-duty applications.
To ensure maximum international compatibility, the plate is available with two different thread standards: ISO Metric (identified by code M) and Unified Coarse UNC (identified by code U). This allows seamless integration into both European and American-designed systems.
To meet different environmental conditions and corrosion-resistance requirements, the product can be configured in five material and surface finish variants (Material code):
