UVR – Oil regeneration unit for transformers

The UVR is a versatile unit designed to purify, clear, regenerate and completely remove aromatics from any petrochemical product. The unit can be operated from any facility, requires no special positioning, is easily transportable and operates quietly.

These units are available in three design options:

• general industrial framework;
• general industrial container;
• fire- and explosion-proof (sliding door container).

GlobeCore UVR units are designed for the regeneration and purification of used fuels and mineral oils.

The UVR process is a GlobeCore technology. The process is so unique and so advanced that it can regenerate virtually any used fuel and mineral oil. GlobeCore UVR process units can be tuned or adjusted to process virtually any type of fuel or used oil. There is no need to switch to a different machine because you are processing a different type of oil or fuel. The same UVR unit can process different types of fuels and used oils. UVR units can purify and clarify dark diesel and heavy fuel oil.

UVR units remove sulfur, hydrogen sulfide compounds, tar and other contaminants. Oil and fuel products remain clear and stable after the regeneration process. GlobeCore UVR units have successfully processed dielectric transformer oil, turbine oil, industrial oil, heavy fuel oil, and diesel fuel in hundreds of plants worldwide. GlobeCore UVR units operate using a special absorbent material, combining low cost with high performance in restoring oils and fuels to original like-new condition. In many cases, the remanufactured product is superior to the original product when new.

Design: explosion-proof, containerized. The UVR plant purifies and lightens dark diesel and heavy fuel oil, removes sulfur and hydrogen sulfide compounds, easily lightens gas condensate, and removes resins and contaminants. Processed fuels meet standards and high purity requirements. The unit removes unpleasant odors, e.g., hydrogen sulfide, etc. Processed petroleum products remain stable and do not darken after regeneration, brightening and purification. UVR units do not use the automatic absorbent0 reactivation system found in CMM-R units. UVR regeneration units use “Bleaching Clay” instead of Fuller’s Earth.

Advantages

• Versatility. The UVR can regenerate, clear, filter, and purify not only diesel oil, but also mineral oils, HFO, gas condensate, etc. ;
• The unit can operate in manual or semiautomatic mode. This helps reduce labor costs, since the presence of the operator is only needed for startup, shutdown, and replacement of the absorber;
• Energy efficiency. The actual effective consumption during diesel purification is no more than 3 kW / h;
• The unit does not require complex manipulations when switching to another processed media;
• The plant ensures full compliance of the output product with existing standards and regulations.
