The Stucchi VUZ and VU Series Check Valves, made of zinc-plated or phosphated carbon steel, ensure metal-to-metal sealing and are available with BSP, NPT and SAE threads. They operate up to 400 bar, with cracking pressures from 0.35 to 4.5 bar and a maximum flow rate of 1000 l/min. Suitable for industrial, agricultural and high-pressure applications.
The Stucchi Check Valves, VUZ Series and VU Series, are mechanical components designed to allow flow in one direction only within hydraulic systems. Both series are available with BSP, NPT, and SAE threads, and cover a wide size range from 1/8” to 2”.
The body is made of high-strength carbon steel with zinc plating for the VUZ Series, while the VU Series is treated with black phosphating to facilitate paint adhesion. The piston is carburized by carbonitriding, with metal-to-metal sealing.
A flow direction marking is stamped on the valve body to aid correct installation. Springs with different cracking pressures are available on request. The design is compact and slim.

Applications: Oil & Gas, earth moving vehicles, industry, hydraulic equipment, agriculture, refrigeration, high pressure, chemical and food industry.
Pressure drops refer to the fully open valve; if the pressure is not sufficient to fully open it, the value varies.
The VUZ and VU series include variants with optional drilling and different cracking pressures. They are available in configurations with:
BSP: from 1/8” to 2”
NPT: from 1/8” to 2”
SAE: from 7/16”-20UNF to 2-1/2”-12UN
Each configuration includes specific item codes with description of the valve body, thread type and associated cracking pressure. Dimensional values vary depending on size and thread, with overall lengths from 44 mm to 160 mm, weights from 0.08 kg to 6.90 kg, and wrench sizes from 14 mm to 75 mm.
The VUZ Series is characterized by blue-black zinc plating and is also available in a phosphated version. The VU Series stands out for its black burnished finish due to phosphating treatment. Both are mechanically interchangeable.
