CLB UFI electrical level indicators are float sensors designed to electrically signal the reaching of a minimum or maximum fluid level in the tank. Made with an anodized aluminum connection and a stainless steel rod, they operate via a reliable Reed SPDT switch. They are available in lengths from 150 to 500 mm, with IP65 protection and an operating temperature range from -10°C to +90°C.
The CLB series by UFI Filters offers an effective solution for electrical monitoring of fluid levels in hydraulic tanks. These devices (float switches) activate an electrical signal when the liquid reaches a predetermined threshold (minimum or maximum), enabling the automation of alarms or safety procedures.
The heart of the system is a Reed SPDT (Single Pole Double Throw) switch, magnetically actuated by the movement of the float along the rod. This technology ensures precise and long-lasting operation, with no direct mechanical contacts subject to wear.
CLB indicators are built using durable materials suitable for industrial environments:
Installation requires a minimum distance of 50 mm from ferrous walls to avoid magnetic interference. The maximum supported oil viscosity is 150 cSt. The tank connection is of the “Universal” (U) type, combining a 1″ BSP thread with a 2- or 3-hole flange, offering maximum mounting flexibility.
