Visual Pressure and Vacuum Indicators
For return line applications, visual pressure indicators (pressure gauges) are available with graduated scales in bar or PSI. These instruments feature colored segments (Green, Yellow, Red) that clearly indicate operating status:
- Green: Normal operation (e.g. 0…1.2 bar).
- Yellow: Pre-alarm or caution (e.g. 1.2…1.5 bar).
- Red: Clogging and replacement required (e.g. 1.5…2.5 bar).
For suction line applications, Stauff offers visual vacuum indicators (vacuum gauges) with scales in cm Hg or in Hg, also featuring colored zones to simplify reading of critical vacuum levels (up to -76 cm Hg or -30 in Hg).
Electrical Clogging Switches
Electrical indicators provide a remote signal for automated monitoring. They can be configured with different connector types to suit existing system standards:
- Type M12: 5-pin connector according to IEC 61076-2-101.
- Type A: AMP Junior Timer plug.
- Type D: DEUTSCH DT04-2P plug.
- Type S: With rubber boot protection.
- Type W: With 90-degree polyamide cap.
Technical Specifications and Variants
The flexibility of the range is reflected in the available thread options, offered in both 1/8 BSP and 1/8 NPT. Electrical versions support different operating voltages, including 42 V models (NO or NC contacts) and versions capable of operating between 110 V and 230 V (available for Type W connectors).
