The CSE series by UFI Filters represents an advanced solution for inlet air filtration in hydraulic tanks, essential for maintaining fluid integrity and preventing the ingress of solid contaminants. These devices, featuring practical “spin-on” technology, allow quick and easy maintenance, reducing machine downtime.

Construction Features and Materials

CSE Filters are built to last in demanding industrial environments.

• Connector and Basket: Made of galvanized steel, they ensure corrosion resistance and structural robustness.
• Spin-on Cartridge: The filter element housing is made of steel, providing mechanical protection to the internal element.
• Filter Media: Two types of media are available to suit specific application requirements: Glass fiber (FD) or impregnated cellulose (CC). Both ensure a high air filtration rating of 3 µm.

Performance Specifications

The CSE series offers high performance in terms of air flow management:

• Flow Rate: The models are designed to handle significant flow rates, with a maximum value (Qmax) of 2,800 l/min for sizes 21 and 22, while sizes 11 and 12 handle up to 1,800 l/min.
• Temperature: The operating temperature range is wide, from -25°C to +110°C, making these filters suitable for various climatic and operating conditions.

Compatibility and Applications

CSE UFI Filters are fully compatible with a wide range of hydraulic fluids, including HH, HL, HM, HR, HV, and HG according to ISO 6743/4. This makes them versatile for use in multiple industrial and mobile sectors.

Available Configurations

The CSE range offers various mounting and configuration options:

• Connection: Standard flanged (S).
• Pressurization Valve: Standard models are supplied without a pressurization valve (W).
• Seals: For the flanged version, a cork/oil seal (C) is provided.
