The new series of helical gear hydraulic pumps is fully interchangeable with the ALP2, ALP3, GHP2 and GHP3 series.
The helical shape of the gears eliminates the oil encapsulation phenomenon, which is the main source of noise and vibration.
Manufactured in three different groups (ELI2, ELI3, GHP3), they are available with various flange, shaft, and inlet/outlet port options.
Elika Marzocchi Gear Pumps are designed to deliver advanced hydraulic performance, significantly reducing operating noise compared to traditional gear pumps. Thanks to the patented helical profile, Elika eliminates fluid encapsulation—one of the main causes of vibration and high noise emissions in hydraulic systems.
The result is an average noise reduction of 15 dBA compared to a conventional external pump, making the Elika series ideal for applications where noise is a critical factor: urban environments, medical equipment, indoor installations, or mobile vehicles.
The Elika range is available in three groups:
ELI2: 7.0 – 35.1 cm³/rev
ELI3: 20.4 – 87.1 cm³/rev
ELI4: 86.5 – 199.8 cm³/rev
Each group is fully geometrically and mechanically compatible with the ALP and GHP series, allowing direct integration into existing systems without major modifications.
Elika pumps can operate at pressures up to 310 bar, thanks to their robust construction and helical gear design, which ensures motion continuity even at low rotational speeds. They are therefore suitable for both high-dynamic applications and prolonged stationary operations with high differential pressures.
Each pump is built with:
Extruded aluminum body
Hardened and ground steel gears
Ductile iron flanges and covers
Axial compensation system integrated into the cover
This special configuration reduces internal leakage and ensures high volumetric efficiency even at low speeds.
Operating speeds: from 200 to 4000 rpm (ELI2), 3500 rpm (ELI3), 2800 rpm (ELI4)
Noise level: up to 15 dBA lower than standard pumps
Available seals: NBR for standard use, VITON® for high temperatures (up to 120 °C)
Rotation: right-hand or left-hand (non-reversible)
Mounting: via Oldham couplings, European, SAE or BK flanges, compatible with D or FA** threaded ports
Earthmoving and lifting machines
Continuous cycle industrial presses
Mobile vehicles, electric buses, lifting platforms
Medical machinery and quiet electro-hydraulic systems
Hydraulic actuators for indoor environments
