High-Pressure Stainless Steel Filter Elements MP Filtri

The High-Pressure Stainless Steel Filter Elements MP Filtri protect hydraulic systems from solid and water contamination. Equipped with stainless steel components and high-efficiency pleated filter media, they ensure differential pressure resistance up to 210 bar (3000 psi). Series U, including models FZP, FZH, FZX, FZB, FZM and FZD, provides maximum reliability thanks to the reinforced internal support tube.

Description

Maximum Protection for Hydraulic Systems

The High-Pressure Stainless Steel Filter Elements MP Filtri represent an advanced technological solution for protecting hydraulic systems from solid particle and water contamination. Solid particles are the primary cause of malfunction and failure in hydraulic systems, while the presence of water leads to the degradation of lubrication performance and surface protection provided by the fluid.

Operating Principle and Filtration Technologies

The effectiveness of these filters is based on two main mechanical retention methodologies:

  • Surface filtration: The filter media, typically made of woven wire cloth or metal mesh, directly intercept particles larger than the pore size, preventing them from continuing through the system.
  • Depth filtration: The filter media consist of overlapping fibers that create variable geometric pathways, trapping particles smaller than their diameter. Materials used include inorganic fibers (known as microfibers), layered to increase contaminant retention capacity.

Advanced Structural Features

The internal architecture of MP Filtri elements integrates seven levels of support and protection:

  1. External PET tube to protect the element during assembly and optimize flow.
  2. External metal mesh to defend the filter media from inlet pressure and preserve the pleated material.
  3. External synthetic fiber support (polyester or glass microfiber) with pre-filtration function.
  4. Main microfiber filtration layer for fine particles, characterized by high contaminant retention and low pressure drop.
  5. Internal polyester layer to protect the microfiber media.
  6. Internal support metal mesh (stainless steel or carbon steel with epoxy coating) to withstand differential pressure.
  7. Central reinforced perforated tube designed to prevent structural collapse of the filter element.

Series U: High-Pressure Stainless Steel Elements

Series U (Type A) defines the technical standard for High-Pressure Stainless Steel Filter Elements MP Filtri. These components use high-efficiency pleated filter media and a reinforced internal support tube that ensures exceptional differential pressure resistance, capable of operating up to 210 bar (3000 psi). All metallic components of the element are strictly manufactured in stainless steel. This robust configuration is implemented in models FZP, FZH, FZX, FZB, FZM and FZD.

Water Management and MYclean System

The range includes Water Absorber (WA025) solutions in 25 micron inorganic microfiber, ensuring absolute filtration of solid particles at Beta 25(c) = 1000 and permanently removing free water from the system through polymer fibers that expand during absorption. In addition, the exclusive MYclean technology uses a polygonal connection system protected by international patents, requiring the exclusive use of original spare parts to guarantee perfect hydraulic system reliability.

Regulatory Compliance and ISO Standards

Filtration performance is validated through the ISO 16889 Multi-pass test, which accurately evaluates efficiency and retention capacity in relation to differential pressure by introducing ISO MTD test dust. All elements comply with stringent hydraulic industry standards, including ISO 2941 for collapse resistance, ISO 2943 for fluid compatibility and ISO 4406 for contamination coding.
