Structural Features and Materials

The FZX series represents MP Filtri’s technological excellence in high-pressure filtration. Designed for in-line installation, these filters are built with high-quality components to withstand extreme environments. The head and housing are manufactured in AISI 316L stainless steel, selected for its excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical durability. The bypass valve, where предусмотрed, is also constructed in AISI 316L.

The sealing system is highly configurable to adapt to different thermal and chemical conditions:

• NBR (Series A): for temperatures between -25°C and +110°C.
• FPM (Series V): for temperatures between -20°C and +120°C.
• MFQ (Series F): for low-temperature applications, from -50°C up to +120°C.

Performance and Pressure Management

The MP Filter Series FZX is designed to handle operating pressures up to 100 MPa (1000 bar), making it one of the most robust components in the pressure line filtration range. The maximum nominal flow rate is $10~l/min$. To ensure maximum system safety, filter elements are available in two high-collapse configurations ($Delta p$ 210 bar):

• Series H: with tin-plated steel end caps and inner tube, mesh supports and inorganic microfiber media.
• Series U: fully stainless steel version (end caps, tube and supports), specifically designed for use with aggressive fluids.

Applications and Industrial Sectors

Thanks to its stainless steel construction and resistance to extremely high pressures, the FZX series is primarily used in sectors where reliability is critical:

• Off-shore equipment: protection of circuits exposed to marine environments.
• Water filtration systems: management of non-oil-based fluids.
• Corrosive environmental conditions: industrial plants with aggressive chemical agents.
• Systems with corrosive fluids: special hydraulic circuits requiring inert materials.

Monitoring and Maintenance

For efficient contamination management, filters can be equipped with differential clogging indicators in visual, electrical or electronic versions. Maintenance is facilitated by a design that recommends 100 mm of free space below the housing for filter element replacement. Filters are designed for vertical mounting and offer various connection options, including BSP/NPT threads and Autoclave connections for maximum sealing performance.
