The Seim PCX WTG Pump is a self-priming twin-screw pump designed to meet the most demanding requirements in applications with hydraulic and lubricating oils, even in the presence of dissolved gases. Its advanced architecture makes it an optimal solution for lubrication and auxiliary cooling systems, particularly in the industrial, Oil & Gas, and marine sectors.

Mechanical Design

The pump is equipped with a single mechanical seal, with the option to install seals compliant with API 682 standard upon request. The internal bearings are lubricated directly by the pumped fluid. The structure includes a fabricated external casing and a fully removable and replaceable inner liner, facilitating maintenance operations. Installation can be either horizontal or vertical, offering maximum integration flexibility. On request, a magnetic coupling version is also available.

• Pump Body and Flanges: Welded steel (A105 or equivalent), AISI 316L Stainless Steel, or Duplex.
• Screws (Primary and Driven): Hardened Carbon Steel or AISI 410 Stainless Steel.
• Inner Liner: Cast Iron (A48 Gr.35 or GG25), Carbon Steel, or Stainless Steel.
• O-rings: Standard in Viton.

The series also includes the specific PXWTG 042-040 model, optimized for hydraulic, lubricating, and corrosive oils, even with dissolved gases. This variant operates at a rotational speed of 1450 rpm and features a standard differential pressure of 2 bar, extendable up to 10 bar with mineral oil. It is designed for kinematic viscosities from 1 to 10 cSt.

Each pump undergoes rigorous quality checks, including visual and dimensional inspection of materials, automatic dimensional control of screws, and hydrostatic tests. For API-compliant units, performance and hydrostatic tests are carried out according to API 676 standard.
