The Seim PCXAO Pump is a three-screw positive displacement pump designed for fluid transfer across a wide range of applications, including industrial, marine, and Oil & Gas sectors. Its design is fully compliant with the API 676 standard, 3rd edition, ensuring high levels of safety, reliability, and performance. This model is suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations and can operate in ambient temperatures from -25°C (for the carbon steel version) up to a maximum of 60°C.

Construction Features and Materials

The robustness of the Seim PCXAO Pump is ensured by materials selected to withstand demanding operating conditions.

Main Components

• Body and Flanges: Made of carbon steel or, on request, stainless steel for enhanced corrosion resistance.
• Screws: The core of the pump consists of hardened carbon steel screws, providing excellent wear resistance and long service life.
• Liner: Available in cast iron GG25 or carbon steel, depending on application requirements.
• O-rings: Sealing is provided by standard Viton O-rings, known for their chemical and thermal compatibility.
• Coating: The standard surface treatment includes SA2.5 sandblasting, primer application, and RAL finish for a total thickness of 160µ. Different coating cycles are available on request.

The pump has been engineered to deliver stable, continuous operation with broad operating flexibility.

Flow and Pressures

The Seim PCXAO Pump can handle flow rates from 10 to 5400 l/min (equivalent to 0.6–324 m³/h). It operates with a maximum suction pressure of 10 barg (146 psi) and can reach a maximum discharge pressure of 100 barg (1451 psi).

Speed and Rotation

The operating rotational speed ranges from 750 to 3600 rpm. The standard rotation is clockwise when viewed from the shaft end, with a counterclockwise configuration available on request.

Operating Temperatures

The working fluid temperature range is between 0 and 70°C, with an upper limit of 70°C.

Fluid Compatibility and Specifications

The Seim PCXAO Pump is versatile and suitable for pumping numerous fluids, provided they do not contain suspended solids (solid content equal to 0%).
