Pump Body and Material Options

The standard pump body is made of aluminum. For applications involving specific fluids such as LFO (Light Fuel Oil) and HFO (Heavy Fuel Oil), an option with spheroidal cast iron body is available, providing greater chemical compatibility and resistance.

Screw Set

The core of the system consists of three screws: one central and two lateral. All screws are made of nitrided steel, a treatment that provides high surface hardness and wear resistance. The screws are also balanced to minimize vibrations and ensure quieter and more stable operation.

Seal and Bearings

The pump is equipped with a mechanical seal to prevent fluid leakage. The shaft support is provided by an externally positioned ball bearing, a design choice that isolates it from the pumped fluid, increasing its service life. A dedicated drain port is also provided.

• Viscosity and Temperature: The pump is designed to operate with fluids having a kinematic viscosity between 10 and 400 cSt. The standard operating temperature range is from 0 to 100 °C (32 to 212 °F).
• Speed and Noise: The operating speed can reach up to 1750 rpm, with specific values depending on the available NPSH. The average noise level ranges between 60 and 75 dB(A) at 2900 rpm, depending on pump size.
• Filtration: For proper operation, a fluid filtration level of ISO 4406 19/16 or NAS 10 is required.

Model Specifications and Mounting

• PWOF072 Model: This model offers maximum installation flexibility, being suitable for both horizontal and vertical mounting.
• PWOF083 and PWOF102 Models: Unlike the 072 model, the PWOF083 and PWOF102 versions are designed exclusively for horizontal mounting.

The standard rotation direction is clockwise, viewed from the motor connection flange side.
