They are used as safety and working filters to protect pumps and hydraulic circuits from contamination of fluids in accordance with the international standard ISO 4406.
If 100% of the system’s oil is filtered, the return filters allow optimal removal of the contaminant from the system. This allow the oil to arrive clean to the pump by reducing wear coused by pollutants.
Their function is mantein the contamination at the requires level in the tank, and they must be sized to have a high accumulation capacity.
They use the microfiber (absolute filtration βx ≥ 75) and paper (nominal filtration βx ≥ 2) filtration media.
