The Stauff Clogging Indicators – Differential Pressure Switches and Gauges are essential components for preventive maintenance and the safety of hydraulic systems. These devices detect the differential pressure between the contaminated side and the clean side of the filter element, providing a clear indication of when replacement is required.

Differential Pressure Switch with Visual Indicator (Type SRFL-S/D)

This version is designed for return line filters. In addition to a visual gauge indicator that displays the differential pressure across the filter element, the device integrates an electrical switch.

  • Control Functions: The switch can activate a warning light, stop the machine, or manage other electrically controlled functions when the element requires replacement.
  • Performance Specifications: Operates at a maximum pressure of 200 bar (2900 PSI) and covers a temperature range from -20 °C to +80 °C.
  • Electrical Characteristics: Supports a maximum switching voltage of 28 V AC/DC with a maximum contact current of 0.25 A.
  • Construction: Manufactured with an aluminum body, glass lens, and NBR (Buna-N®) or FKM (Viton®) seals, it provides an IP65 protection rating (dust-tight and protected against water jets).

Visual Differential Pressure Gauge (Type SRFL-SW)

Specifically designed for inline filters, this purely visual clogging indicator allows convenient determination of the condition of basket filters.

  • Reading and Scale: Equipped with a 0 to 1 bar scale (0…14.5 PSI) on a nominal diameter of 80 mm, enabling immediate reading of the pressure differential.
  • Operating Conditions: Supports a maximum operating pressure of 100 bar (1450 PSI). Suitable for ambient temperatures from 0 to +60 °C and fluid temperatures up to +100 °C.
  • Materials and Protection: The body is made of black die-cast aluminum with an acrylic lens. The protection rating is IP54, offering protection against dust and water splashes.
