OLSH Series Heated Offline Filtration Units: Efficiency and Contamination Control
The Stauff OLSH series is a solution for cleaning and drying hydraulic and lubrication systems. The units combine an integrated motor-pump group, a preheating system, and a high-efficiency offline filter.
The system draws oil from the tank, heats it, filters it, and returns it to the circuit, operating independently of the main system.
Operating Principle: Preheating and Radial Filtration
The unit integrates a gear pump and an electric heater with thermostat.
- Preheating: Electric heating ensures that cold or high-viscosity fluids reach a viscosity suitable for filtration.
- Fine Filtration: The oil passes through the filter element in a radial direction, preventing channel formation. Standard elements feature a filtration rating of 0.5 micron, ensuring extremely clean oil and high dirt and water holding capacity.
Design Features
The units feature a compact design and are easy to maintain.
- OLSH 30: Single-housing configuration with a 300 mm (11.81 in) long element.
- OLSH 60: Single-housing configuration with a 600 mm (23.62 in) long element for higher capacity.
The system is driven by an electric motor (standard three-phase 230/400 V AC or optional single-phase versions).

- Pressure: Max differential pressure 6.2 bar; Max housing pressure 20 bar.
- Fluid temperature: Max +80°C.
- Connections: Suction G3/8 (OLSH 30) or G1/2 (OLSH 60); Return G1/2.
SRM Filter Elements
The units are supplied as standard with 0.5 micron cellulose elements (Code H).
Optionally available are inorganic glass fiber elements (1, 3, 5, 10, 20 microns) or polymer elements for water absorption (Code EA).
