Description

The Emmegi Water-Oil Heat Exchangers are a highly reliable technical solution for cooling hydraulic circuits, making them ideal for return line applications. Designed to deliver high thermal performance, they are manufactured using premium materials and precision machining to ensure maximum efficiency even under demanding operating conditions.


Inspectable Water Circuit and Modularity

A distinguishing feature of the Emmegi range is the inspectable water circuit, available in 1, 2, or 4-pass configurations, allowing maximum adaptability to various system requirements. These heat exchangers can also be equipped with an integrated thermostatic valve, which optimizes water consumption while maintaining consistent performance.


Materials and Available Versions

Emmegi Water-Oil Heat Exchangers are available in multiple versions:

  • Standard
  • For seawater (with integrated zinc anode)
  • In AISI 304 or CuNi10Mn1Fe

Materials used include: copper, brass, CuZn37, CuZn40, Fe510.2 steel, AISI 304, CuNi10Mn1Fe, with gaskets made of rubber-cork or graphite-kevlar in designated versions. Tubes are made of CuDHP, while tube plates, baffles, and shells are made of specific materials depending on the series (MG, MGC, MGE, MGB, etc.).

Simplified Maintenance

The water side is easily inspectable by removing the end caps, allowing for tube cleaning in case of deposit buildup. The oil side can be cleaned by reverse-flow flushing with perchloroethylene for approximately 30 minutes, followed by rinsing with hot water.
