The MP Filter Series FMMXEX ATEX is designed to protect components in hydraulic systems operating in potentially explosive atmospheres. Suitable for high-pressure applications, it supports up to 420 bar and handles flow rates up to 300 l/min. It integrates the HPX filter element with MYCLEAN polygonal technology, ensuring the exclusive use of original spare parts. The zerospark+ antistatic solution prevents the accumulation of electric charges, eliminating the risk of fire and protecting circuit components.

These high-pressure devices withstand a maximum working pressure of 42 MPa (420 bar) and are capable of handling hydraulic flow rates up to 300 l/min. The filters are equipped with female threaded connections up to 1 1/4″. In terms of strength testing, the proof pressure is set at 63 MPa (630 bar), while the minimum burst pressure reaches 126 MPa (1260 bar). In addition, the components pass a fatigue test of 1,000,000 cycles with pressure variations from 0 to 42 MPa (420 bar).
The MP Filter Series FMMXEX ATEX uses the high-performance HPX series filter element.
The head of these filters is made of painted cast iron in black (RAL 9005), while the housing and bypass valve are made of solid phosphated steel. The bypass valve intervenes to relieve excessive pressure drop, with a standard opening setting of 0.6 MPa (6 bar) ±10%. The seals are supplied as standard in NBR (series A) for a fluid temperature range from -15°C to +80°C, with an FPM option (series V) for temperatures up to +110°C. The seal choice determines the ATEX temperature class, ranging from T6 to T4. The maximum pressure drop (Δp) of the filter element is 20 bar for the standard configuration (N) and 210 bar for the high-collapse configuration with external support (S).
The series is divided into two main models, particularly suitable for agricultural machinery and mobile machinery, with flow direction from outside to inside (from OUT to IN).
All models can be equipped with visual, electrical, or electronic differential clogging indicators.
