The Miselli SM/HP Series and Series 38 Oil Level Sight Glass represents a high-quality solution for visual monitoring of fluids in hydraulic systems. SM/HP Series: Construction Features and Performance

The SM/HP series features a hexagonal head with threaded connection, entirely made of 11S aluminum alloy. Fluid monitoring is carried out through a natural glass window, sealed with an internal FKM VITON O-ring to ensure maximum tightness. To optimize visibility, an internal contrast screen made of white-painted aluminum is integrated, enhanced by a central red marker. External sealing is provided by a flat inorganic fiber gasket, with the option of an aluminum version depending on system requirements.

In terms of performance, this series supports a maximum recommended working pressure of 20 bar and temperatures up to +130°C (266°F). Variants are available with BSP threads from G1/2 to G1 (models SM-12/HP, SM-34/HP, SM-1/HP) as well as metric versions M20x1.5 and M33x1.5 (models SM-20.15/HP, SM-33.15/HP).

Series 38: Special Oil Sight Glasses for Extreme Conditions

The Series 38 includes special models designed to withstand demanding thermal and pressure ranges, all rated for operating temperatures between -10°C and 150°C. This range is divided into four main construction variants:

• Model 38B: Made of brass and glass, capable of withstanding pressures above 40 bar, available with threads from G 1/2″ to 2″.
• Model 38B.1: Made of stainless steel and glass, offering the same pressure performance (>40 bar) with threads from G 1/2″ to 1″.
• Model 38D: Combines aluminum and glass for pressures above 10 bar, with a wide range of BSP (from 1/2″ to 1 1/2″) and metric threads (from M14 to M22x1.5).
• Model 38D.1: Stainless steel and glass version for pressures above 10 bar, with threads from G 1/4″ to 1″.
