The versatility of the HGVS Series is reflected in the choice of construction materials. Dampener bodies are made of carbon steel for standard applications. For corrosive environments or specific requirements, the HGVSX Series is available, manufactured entirely from AISI 304L or 316L stainless steel. The manufacturer also provides the use of exotic materials to meet the most complex system challenges. The external finish consists of epoxy painting applied according to FOX standard procedures, with the possibility of adapting the painted body to project specifications. Internally, the element consists of bladders made from elastomeric compounds such as HNBR and NBR.

Operating Principle and Advantages

The primary function of the dampener is the drastic reduction of vibrations and pressure oscillations within the hydraulic system. By absorbing pressure peaks, the device significantly extends the mechanical and operational life of valves, actuators, and all other connected hydraulic components.
