Grouped Aegi Twin Series Clamps
Grouped Aegi Twin Series Clamps provide secure fastening for industrial pipework and hydraulic systems. Manufactured from polypropylene, self-extinguishing polyamide or rubber, they cover diameters from 6.4 mm to 42 mm. These modular clamping systems, available with either a smooth inner surface (Type H) or a profiled design, ensure high mechanical strength. They are fully compatible with multiple base plates and mounting rails for complex, high-performance configurations. The available product codes include the complete family of AD, MD and RD models, together with the relevant mounting accessories.
Grouped Aegi Twin Series Clamps provide a standardised engineering solution for the structural fastening of pipes in hydraulic systems and fluid distribution networks. The construction design is available in three different compounds, selected according to the operating environment: polypropylene (AD Series designation) for general applications, self-extinguishing polyamide (MD Series designation) for environments with a high thermal risk, and rubber (RD Series designation) for dissipating mechanical vibrations. The clamping range covers pipe outside diameters from 6.4 mm (1/4″) to 42 mm (1 1/4″), classified according to DIN size Groups 1 to 5.
The clamp body is designed with two gripping variants to meet specific requirements. A smooth inner profile version (Type H) is available for hoses where friction must be minimised, while the standard version with a profiled inner surface is optimised for rigid pipes. The modular system allows the components to be supplied either as individual clamp halves, identified by the suffix “S”, or as complete clamp pairs, identified by the suffix “C”. This flexibility allows adaptation to any system layout and simplifies maintenance.
Assembly requires dedicated fastening components. The base of the clamp assembly consists of lower weld plates (ADPIN, available for Groups 1 to 5) or, for series configurations, multiple lower plates (ADPIM), designed to accommodate up to five parallel clamps. The assembly is closed at the top by upper plates (ADPS). The two clamp halves are tightened using hexagon head bolts (ADVTE), with M6 threads for Group 1 and M8 threads for Groups 2 to 5. For high-load installations requiring maximum safety, safety upper plates (APMRSD) are used together with extended hexagon head bolts (ADVTEA).
As an alternative to directly welding the lower plates, the system supports installation on dedicated mounting rails (ABINS Series). These profiles, manufactured with a nominal thickness of 2 mm, have a width of 28 mm and are available in three different heights: 11 mm, 14 mm and 30 mm. The connection between the clamp and the rail is provided by the special hexagon rail nut (ADESD), with an M6 thread for light-duty configurations (model ADES-G 1) or an M8 thread for standard profiles (model ADESD 2).
