Complete Aegi Standard Series Clamps provide an optimal engineering solution for fastening and anchoring pipes in hydraulic and industrial systems. Designed according to strict dimensional standards and DIN requirements, these components absorb vibrations and reduce noise while maintaining the integrity of fluid systems subjected to continuous pressure.

Fastening System Components

Each Complete Aegi Standard Series Clamp kit is supplied with all the components required for immediate and secure installation. The complete system includes the following structural elements:

• Clamp halves (A…..S): the central component that surrounds the pipe, shaped to provide a secure grip without damaging it.
• Base plate (APIN): the lower plate designed for welding or fastening to the supporting structure of the system.
• Washers (AROND): used in pairs (2x) to ensure optimum distribution of the clamping load across the surface of the upper clamp half.
• Fastening screws (AVTC): supplied in pairs (2x), these screws ensure that the clamp body is securely tightened. Their dimensions vary according to the group, ranging from M6x20 for the smaller groups up to M6x60 for the largest size group.

Materials and Construction Variants

Versatility is ensured by the availability of four different materials for the clamp halves, identified by specific prefixes in the product code. The material is selected according to operating temperatures, system safety requirements and the level of mechanical stress:

• Polypropylene (A): the standard material, offering an excellent balance between mechanical strength and overall reliability.
• Self-extinguishing polyamide (MA): a specific formulation for environments subject to strict fire-safety regulations, providing significant flame-retardant properties.
• Rubber (RA): a highly elastic solution, ideal for applications requiring maximum absorption of shocks and severe system vibrations.
• Aluminium (LA): a metal alloy specifically suited to environments characterised by high operating temperatures or particularly demanding mechanical stresses.

Dimensional Specifications and Groups

The dimensional classification system is divided into seven separate groups, identified from Group 0 to Group 6. This scalability allows pipes with an outside diameter (O.D.) ranging from a minimum of 6 mm, equivalent to 1/8 inch, up to a maximum of 50.8 mm, equivalent to 2 inches, to be securely accommodated. The construction dimensions of the plate and clamp body, identified by parameters a, b, c, d, e, f and s, increase proportionally with the group size, ensuring that the fastening arrangement is always correctly sized for the relevant pipe cross-section.

Construction Parameters and Dimensions

The clamp architecture is defined by highly precise geometric parameters to ensure compatibility with existing infrastructure. The base thickness, dimension “s”, is maintained at a constant 3 mm for all size groups. The plate width, dimension “b”, progressively increases from 28 mm for Group 0 to 86 mm for Group 6. The centre distance between the fastening screw holes, dimension “c”, is carefully calculated to distribute the clamping force evenly: it starts at 20 mm for Group 1 and reaches 66 mm for Group 6. The total length of the base plate, dimension “f”, ranges from 31.5 mm for the smallest configuration to 89 mm for fastening two-inch pipes. This logical dimensional progression ensures that all mechanical stresses generated by fluid dynamics are transferred to the supporting structure in a controlled and safe manner. Standard packaging consists of boxes containing 50 pieces for Groups 0 to 3 and boxes containing 25 pieces for the larger Groups 4 to 6.
