Aegi Standard Series Clamps with Upper Plate
Aegi Standard Series Clamps with Upper Plate are designed for the secure fastening of pipes in hydraulic systems. Available in polypropylene, self-extinguishing polyamide, rubber and aluminium, they cover diameters from 6 mm to 50.8 mm (Groups 0-6). Supplied complete with an upper plate and M6 threaded screws, they ensure robust and reliable installation. Standard packages contain 25 or 50 pieces depending on the size group. The available product codes include the complete family of variants (e.g. A0 06+APS, MA1 08+APS, RA2 14+APS up to Group 6), as detailed in the complete table in the description.
Aegi Standard Series Clamps with Upper Plate are designed to provide a precision mechanical fastening system for industrial pipes. The Standard Series is divided into seven distinct size groups, identified from Group 0 to Group 6, allowing pipes with outside diameters (O.D.) ranging from a minimum of 6 mm to a maximum of 50.8 mm, equivalent to 2 inches, to be securely fastened.
The main clamp body, formed by two symmetrical clamp halves, is available in four different material types, each identified by a specific prefix in the final product code. Polypropylene versions, identified by the letter A, represent the standard configuration. For environments requiring materials with specific properties, self-extinguishing polyamide models are available with the prefix MA. Rubber clamps, identified by the prefix RA, provide mechanical vibration damping, while aluminium versions, identified by the prefix LA, ensure maximum rigidity and structural fastening strength.
The complete assembly of this series includes an upper cover plate, identified in the product codes by the abbreviation APS. This plate has a nominal thickness, dimension ‘s’ in the technical data sheet, that remains strictly constant at 3 mm across all seven size groups, ensuring uniform distribution of the clamping load. The width of the structure, dimension ‘a’, remains fixed at 30 mm throughout the entire range.
The system is completed by two hexagon head bolts (VTE) with M6 metric threads. The bolt length is directly proportional to the height of the size group, dimension ‘e’. The bolts range from M6x30 for Groups 0 and 1, to M6x35 for Group 2, M6x40 for Group 3, M6x45 for Group 4, M6x60 for Group 5 and a maximum length of M6x70 for Group 6.
The centre distance between the fastening holes, dimension ‘c’, is designed to increase progressively according to the pipe diameter: 20 mm for Group 1, 26 mm for Group 2, 33 mm for Group 3, 40 mm for Group 4, 52 mm for Group 5 and 66 mm for Group 6. The total clamp height, dimension ‘e’, starts at a minimum of 27 mm for the smallest configurations and increases progressively up to 86 mm for Group 6. The overall plate depth, dimension ‘f’, similarly increases from 32 mm for Group 0 up to 88 mm for Group 6.
The quantities supplied vary according to the dimensions of the selected group. Size Groups 0 to 3 are supplied in standard packages containing 50 pieces each. The larger Groups 4, 5 and 6 are instead supplied in packages containing 25 pieces per box. As specified in the documentation, certain items are available upon request and are subject to a minimum order quantity.
