The Complete STAUFF Heavy Twin Series Clamp (Kit Configurator) represents a high-performance standard for fastening pipes in demanding hydraulic systems. Specifically developed for the Heavy Twin Series configuration, this modular system ensures stable clamping and reduces vibrations in heavy-duty industrial applications.

The clamp bodies of the Heavy Twin Series are engineered to provide maximum mechanical and chemical resistance. They are available with a profiled design in two primary polymer variants: Polypropylene (Code: PP) and Polyamide (Code: PA). For applications requiring enhanced vibration damping, the Type RI design can be selected, featuring an integrated elastomer insert and likewise available in Polypropylene (PP-R) or Polyamide (PA-R). On request, the series is also available in the Type H design, characterised by a smooth inner surface without tension clearance.

The system covers a broad range of outside diameters, divided into two main size groups:

• Group 4S-D: Supports outside diameters from 6 mm up to 26.9 mm.
• Group 5S-D: Supports outside diameters from 20 mm up to 42 mm.

Installation and Fastening Types

Technicians can opt for direct installation using a Single Weld Plate (Code: SPAD), or for mounting on a rail using mounting rail nuts (Code: GMV) or channel rail adapters (Code: CRA).

For upper fastening, the configurable kits include different mounting combinations:

• DPAD Cover Plate combined with AS Hexagon Head Bolt (Code: DPAD-AS).
• SIPD Safety Locking Plate with AF Stacking Bolt (Code: SIPD-AF).

Metal Finishes and Component Materials

Corrosion resistance is ensured by a wide selection of materials and surface finishes for the metal components. Standard options include:

• W1: Carbon steel, uncoated.
• W2: Carbon steel, phosphated.
• W3: Zinc/Nickel-Plated Carbon Steel.
• W4: V2A Stainless Steel (1.4301/1.4305 – AISI 304/303).
• W5: V4A Stainless Steel (1.4401/1.4571 – AISI 316/316Ti).

Multiple mixed combinations (W10 to W19) are also available to optimise the cost/performance ratio, combining components such as phosphated plates with zinc/nickel-plated or uncoated fastening hardware according to specific installation requirements.

Threads and Supply Options

All threaded components in the system can be selected with either ISO Metric Thread (Code: M) or Unified Coarse Thread UNC (Code: U). To optimise logistics on site or in the workshop, STAUFF offers various assembly and kitting options. Standard supply provides the components separately, while pre-assembled components (Code: A) or complete kits (Code: K) can optionally be requested.
