Description
Technical Specifications and Compliance Standards
Oleo Tecnica Zinc-Plated Metric Threaded Stubs with DIN 3901-3902 Connection are a high-precision technical solution designed to ensure reliable connections in hydraulic systems operating at high pressures. Strict compliance with DIN 3901 and DIN 3902 metric standards ensures perfect mechanical interchangeability and optimal hydraulic sealing in complex circuits, fully meeting the requirements of engineers and designers in the sector.
Construction Features and Materials
The construction of the components is designed to maximize resistance to mechanical stress. Standard models (SFCE ordering designation) are manufactured from A105 steel or equivalent material. To ensure superior protection against oxidation and wear, these stubs undergo a Cr3 zinc-plating surface treatment (trivalent chromium), which provides excellent protective properties while complying with the latest environmental standards. For applications requiring extreme resistance to corrosive agents, an AISI 316L stainless steel version is available (SFCEX ordering designation).
Geometry and Sealing System
The technical design includes a 24° cone connection profile, an essential parameter for ensuring perfect centering and uniform distribution of the mechanical load during tightening. A key element for the reliability of the entire system is the presence of a stub equipped with a dedicated O-ring seat. The O-ring seals vary according to component size (codes from 4075 to 4187), ensuring a leak-tight seal of the hydraulic fluid even in the presence of strong vibrations or sudden pressure peaks.
Performance and Working Pressures (Series 3000 and Series 6000)
Oleo Tecnica Zinc-Plated Metric Threaded Stubs with DIN 3901-3902 Connection are divided into two application categories, sized for dimensions ranging from 1/2″ up to 1″ 1/2 and metric threads from M22x1,5 to M52x2:
- Series 3000: Developed for medium- and high-duty hydraulic applications. Maximum recommended working pressures vary according to diameter and construction configuration (L or S type), starting from 160 Kg/cm² for larger sizes, through 210 and 280 Kg/cm², up to operating values of 315 and 350 Kg/cm² for the more compact sizes.
- Series 6000: Engineered for the most extreme and demanding operating conditions. Regardless of nominal size and connection thread, the entire Series 6000 range guarantees a constant maximum recommended working pressure of 400 Kg/cm², providing the highest degree of safety in heavy-duty circuits.
Ordering Designation
The component specification follows a precise nomenclature: the identification prefix is “SFCE” for the A105 steel series with Cr3 zinc plating, while the AISI 316L variant is identified by the prefix “SFCEX”. The codes uniquely identify the series, type (L/S), metric pitch and wrench size.
