Oleo Tecnica NPT Threaded Double Flanges are a fundamental component for ensuring perfect hydraulic sealing in systems operating at high and very high pressures. Engineered with precision for fluid shut-off and connection, these double flanges are used in industrial hydraulic circuits where mechanical reliability is an essential requirement for the proper operation of the entire system.

Pressure Specifications: Series 3000 and Series 6000

The range is divided into two main product lines, developed to withstand different pressure loads. Series 3000 offers a maximum recommended working pressure that varies according to nominal size: it reaches 345 kg/cm² for sizes from 1/2″ to 1″, 276 kg/cm² for the 1″1/4 size, 207 kg/cm² for variants from 1″1/2 to 2″, 172 kg/cm² for 2″1/2, 138 kg/cm² for 3″, and finally drops to 34 kg/cm² for larger sizes ranging from 3″1/2 to 5″.
For applications requiring greater resistance, Series 6000 ensures constant structural sealing at working pressures up to 414 kg/cm², uniformly covering nominal sizes from the smallest 1/2″ format up to 3″.

Construction Materials and Designation Variants

The materials used for flange construction ensure strength and resistance in demanding industrial environments. Available options include S355 carbon steel and AISI 316L stainless steel, both ideal for safe fluid handling.
The ordering designation includes four main combinations: the “NM” suffix indicates the set supplied with metric screws, while the “NU” suffix identifies versions equipped with UNC screws. Accordingly, the root codes “DFS” refer to the S355 steel model, while “DFX” identifies the AISI 316L variant. It is important to note that UNC screw sets are available exclusively for the carbon steel version.

Fastening Screws and Included Components

Each kit is supplied as a complete, ready-to-install set. The assembly includes the flange, counter flange, screw set (available in either metric or UNC systems, with specific material restrictions such as for models DFS507N and DFS508N, which are available only with metric carbon steel screws) and the O-ring for leak-tight sealing. The supplied O-rings (types from 4075 to 4537) are matched precisely to the flange geometry, minimizing the risk of leakage within the circuit.
