Seim PB Pump: Performance and Reliability for Hydraulic Systems

The Seim PB Pump is a three-screw pump specifically designed for low-flow applications (starting from 3 l/min) and operating pressures up to 40 bar. Its design aims to meet technical requirements in industrial and marine environments, offering low maintenance costs and a long service life for internal components.

Construction Features and Materials

The robustness of the Seim PB Pump comes from careful material selection and a compact design.

  • Pump Body and Flanges: Made of spheroidal graphite cast iron UNI EN 1563 GJS400 (GGG40), a material that ensures high mechanical strength.
  • Screw Set: The screws, the central component for fluid handling, are made of nitrided steel. This surface treatment provides high hardness and wear resistance.
  • Seal: The system is equipped with a high-quality mechanical seal and Viton® O-rings, ensuring excellent chemical and thermal compatibility.
