The Seim PB Pump is a three-screw pump specifically designed for low-flow applications (starting from 3 l/min) and operating pressures up to 40 bar. Its design aims to meet technical requirements in industrial and marine environments, offering low maintenance costs and a long service life for internal components.

Construction Features and Materials

The robustness of the Seim PB Pump comes from careful material selection and a compact design.

• Pump Body and Flanges: Made of spheroidal graphite cast iron UNI EN 1563 GJS400 (GGG40), a material that ensures high mechanical strength.
• Screw Set: The screws, the central component for fluid handling, are made of nitrided steel. This surface treatment provides high hardness and wear resistance.
• Seal: The system is equipped with a high-quality mechanical seal and Viton® O-rings, ensuring excellent chemical and thermal compatibility.
• Support and Bearings: The main shaft is supported by a radial ball bearing, lifetime lubricated to minimize maintenance.
• Relief Valve: The pump integrates an adjustable relief valve (up to 40 bar), protecting the circuit against overpressure.

Version with Magnetic Coupling (Green Solution)

For applications where preventing any fluid leakage is crucial, the Seim PB Pump is also available with a magnetic coupling. This “Green” solution eliminates the mechanical seal, creating a hermetically sealed system. It is the preferred choice for pumping environmentally hazardous fluids or in fire-risk areas, ensuring maximum safety, regulatory compliance, and significantly reduced maintenance costs.
