The Miselli Breather Cap TMDA – TMDFA Series is specifically designed for hydraulic components , made of plastic and equipped with a standard 200 mm phosphated steel level dipstick. The range includes the basic TMDA series , the TMDFA variant with oliurethane filter and the TMDFA/BR with sintered bronze filter. The system guarantees perfect hydraulic sealing through an O-Ring and is widely customizable upon request.
The Miselli Breather Cap TMDA – TMDFA Series represents an advanced technical solution for the sector of accessories intended for hydraulic components. Developed from the established specifications of the previous TMD-TMDF series, this line stands out for the integration of a practical level dipstick for direct fluid control in the tank. These breather caps are made of durable plastic and are designed to offer maximum reliability in monitoring and protecting hydraulic systems, actively supporting fluid contamination control.
The range is divided into three main configurations, designed to meet different operating, filtration, and visual inspection requirements:
TMDA Series: Includes breather caps equipped exclusively with the integrated level dipstick.
TMDFA Series: Consists of breather caps equipped with a level dipstick and an internal filtering element made of oliurethane.
TMDFA/BR Series: Represents the high-performance version, combining the level dipstick with a robust sintered bronze filter.
The central measuring element of these caps is the level dipstick, supplied in its standard configuration in grey phosphated steel. The dipstick has a round section and a standardized length of 200 mm (L=200 mm). Hydraulic sealing of the component, essential to prevent fluid leakage and block external infiltration, is ensured by an O-Ring positioned at the base of the cap. The external diameters (D) of the component range from 36 mm for the smallest sizes up to 63 mm for the largest connections.
To meet more specific industrial applications, the series offers extensive customization options. For a minimum order of 250 pieces, level dipsticks can be supplied in lengths other than the standard version and with dedicated marks for minimum and maximum level indication. The special FLEX model is also available. This particular version includes a flexible level dipstick with flat section, subjected to a zinc phosphating surface treatment. In the FLEX model, the minimum and maximum level indications are engraved with extreme precision by laser, ensuring high wear resistance (available upon request for adequate quantities).
The series ensures versatile installation on a wide variety of tanks and power units. Standard Gas connections available in the catalog range from G3/8 to G1 1/2, alongside metric threads from M14x1.5 to M22x1.5. In addition, to meet international standards, the cap can be supplied upon request with NPT tapered thread in sizes 3/8″, 1/2″, 3/4″, and 1″.
