Ideal for industrial and mobile pressure lines, it is constructed with phosphated cast iron head and phosphated steel housing. It can be equipped with bypass valves, check valves, and high or low collapse filtering elements.

Their primary function is to safeguard and protect the most sensitive components within industrial equipment or mobile machines, operating with maximum efficiency primarily on the pressure lines.
This series of filters ensures top-level performance in harsh working conditions, supporting a maximum operating pressure of up to **32 MPa (320 bar)** and handling maximum flows of up to **500 l/min**. To ensure maximum structural integrity and operational reliability, the filters undergo rigorous resistance tests: the **test pressure** is set at **48 MPa (480 bar)**, while the **minimum burst pressure** reaches **96 MPa (960 bar)**. Their exceptional fatigue resistance is also certified through specific tests for **1,000,000 cycles** with pressure variations from **0 to 32 MPa (320 bar)**.
The structural design involves the use of highly resistant materials to withstand the high pressure of the system. The **filter head** is made of solid **phosphated cast iron**, while the external **housing** is made of **phosphated steel**. Internal components include a **brass bypass valve** and **check or reverse flow valves** made of **steel** (the latter specific for the FMP320 series). It is important to note that these filters are exclusively designed for **vertical installation**. Regarding fluid management and their operating temperatures, the filters typically use **standard NBR seals** (series A), suitable for a temperature range from **-25°C to +110°C**. As an alternative, **FPM seals** (series V) are available to meet specific and different application requirements.
The filtration dynamics occur with a precise flow direction from the outside to the inside of the filtering element (**OUT to IN**). The **Filtro MP Serie FMP** can be equipped with filtering elements in **inorganic microfiber** (with filtration grades from **3 µm to 25 µm**) or in durable **wire mesh** (**25 µm**). The elements are also classified based on their collapse resistance: **low collapse** (series **N**, 20 bar) and **high collapse** (series **H**, 210 bar). There are also variants equipped with **external support** (series **R** and **S**), essential for protecting the filtering element from the counterpressure generated by the **check valve** in the system. As for the **connections**, the series offers flexibility with **female threaded** connections up to **1 1/2″** and **flanged** connections up to **1 1/2″**. The filter architecture can integrate a **bypass valve**, strictly calibrated to open at **0.6 MPa (6 bar)** with a tolerance of **10%**, which is essential to alleviate excessive pressure drops occurring through the **filter medium**. The **check valve**, when implemented, serves to protect the system from potential **reverse flows**. For optimal maintenance control, the filter’s clogging level can be continuously monitored using **differential indicators**, available in **visual**, **electrical**, or **electro-visual** configurations.
