The Miselli XLV / XLV-T Series Vertical Level Indicator is designed for fluid monitoring in hydraulic systems. Equipped with a transparent polycarbonate tube and anodized aluminum external protection, it ensures high visibility and mechanical resistance. Compatible with mineral oils, synthetic oils, and glycol-based fluids, it operates continuously up to 90°C. The XLV-T model integrates an analog probe thermometer. It is supplied with standard center distances from 300 to 500 mm.
The Miselli XLV / XLV-T Series Vertical Level Indicator is a technical component developed for accurate monitoring in hydraulic tanks. The main visual element consists of a transparent tube made of polycarbonate (PC) plastic material. A graduated scale is applied behind this transparent tube, designed to clearly highlight the fluid level.
The device is equipped with an external protection made of anodized aluminum profile. This aluminum protection has a specific construction feature: it can be rotated by 90 degrees to allow side visibility of the fluid level where required by system conditions. The mounting terminals are made of black Polyamide 66. White zinc-plated steel screws and nuts are used for fixing, while hydraulic sealing is ensured by internal and external NBR 70 Shore synthetic rubber gaskets.

The use of polycarbonate makes the indicator suitable for applications with mineral oils, synthetic oils, standard hydraulic fluids, and glycol-based fluids. However, the material has limited resistance to contact with gasoline and diesel. In terms of operation, the maximum continuous operating temperature is set at 90°C, tested at a pressure of 1 bar. In case of use under different pressure or temperature conditions, or with specific fluids and chemical agents, contact with Miselli S.r.l. technical service is required.
The devices are offered as standard in three lengths, calculated according to the hole center distance: 300 mm, 400 mm, and 500 mm. Custom lengths are available on request and for suitable quantities. Standard codes indicate precise center distance and weight specifications:
Mounting can be carried out following two different procedures: externally on the tank, by making 2 M12 threaded holes at the required center distance with a tolerance of ±0.5 mm, or internally in the tank, by making 2 through holes without entry chamfer with a diameter of 12.5 mm (-0.2). In all configurations, the maximum recommended tightening torque is 5 Nm.
