MP Filter LMP 210-211 Series

Description

The MP LMP 210-211 Series Filter represents an extremely versatile technical solution for filtration within low and medium-pressure systems. This range finds widespread application in various industrial contexts, particularly for transmission circuits, protecting critical components in hydraulic systems, and filtering the cooling liquid within machine tools. The component is also suitable for off-line filtration of small tanks and is designed for direct connection to the pressure lines in industrial equipment or mobile machines.

Technical Specifications and Performance

The system supports a maximum working pressure of 6 MPa (60 bar) and is designed to handle flow rates up to 365 l/min. Test results ensure the structural reliability of the component: the filter undergoes testing at a test pressure of 90 bar and has a minimum burst pressure of 180 bar. Additionally, fatigue resistance is certified by passing a 1,000,000-cycle test with pressure variations from 0 to 60 bar.

Technical Differences Between LMP210 and LMP211

The range is divided into two main configurations to meet different system requirements. The LMP210 model uses flanged connections up to 1 1/2″ to handle a maximum flow rate of 365 l/min. The LMP211 model, on the other hand, uses female threaded connections up to 1 1/2″ to process a maximum return flow rate of 365 l/min. Both series require vertical mounting. The product fits within the system’s space through three different filter body lengths (1, 2, and 3), corresponding to weights ranging from 3.10 kg to 6.40 kg and internal volumes from 1.60 dm³ to 2.80 dm³.

Construction Features and Materials

The structural integrity is ensured by using resistant and industry-specific materials: the head is machined from aluminum, while the housing (bowl) is made of cataphoretic coated steel to prevent oxidation. The bypass valve, designed to relieve excessive pressure drop through the filter element, is made of AISI 304 stainless steel and polyamide, with an opening pressure factory set at 3.5 bar (±10%).

Filter Elements and Fluid Compatibility

The filter elements are engineered to direct the fluid flow from the outside to the inside (OUT to IN) and have a standard collapse resistance (Δp) for Series N of 20 bar. The assortment includes filter media made from inorganic microfiber, metal mesh, and resin-impregnated paper, along with modules dedicated to absorbing free water from the hydraulic fluid. The standard seals used are made of NBR (Series A), with optional elastomers in FPM (Series V), EPDM, and CR to ensure maximum chemical compatibility. The entire system guarantees proper operation within an operating temperature range of -25°C to +110°C.

Monitoring and Accessories

To ensure full control over the filtration efficiency, the filter body integrates ports for differential clogging indicators. The component can be equipped with visual, electrical, or electronic indicators, allowing technical staff to intervene promptly for cartridge replacement before the bypass valve operation compromises the fluid cleanliness in the system.
