The MP Filter Series LMP 900-901 is designed for low and medium pressure applications up to 3 MPa (30 bar) and maximum flow rates of 2000 l/min. Ideal for lubrication and off-line filtration systems, it uses filter elements compliant with DIN 24550 standards. The series is available with flanged in-line connections (LMP 900) or 90-degree connections (LMP 901) and features anodized aluminum construction. High filtration efficiency is ensured through fine filtration options, water removal capability, and differential clogging indicators.
The MP Filter LMP 900-901 Series represents an advanced solution for low and medium pressure filtration, supporting a maximum operating pressure of 3 MPa (30 bar) and a hydraulic flow rate reaching up to 2000 l/min. This series, featuring a large filtration surface area, is specifically designed for lubrication systems, off-line reservoir filtration, and industrial filtration equipment. The filters interface directly with system lines through dedicated hydraulic fittings.
To meet different design and installation requirements, the series is divided into two main configurations, both developed for vertical mounting. The LMP 900 model features inline inlet and outlet connections, while the LMP 901 model is distinguished by 90° connections. Both variants offer flanged connections up to 4 inches. An important distinction concerns length: length 2 filters are equipped with two filter cartridges (CU900 series) joined by a removable coupling rod, unlike the single cartridge used in length 1 models.
The structural design includes the use of anodized aluminum for the head, body (housing), and manifolds, ensuring strength and long-term durability. In terms of performance, the filters pass rigorous testing, including a test pressure of 4.5 MPa (45 bar), a minimum burst pressure of 9 MPa (90 bar), and fatigue tests up to 1,000,000 cycles with pressure variations from 0 to 30 bar. Permissible operating temperatures range from -25°C to +110°C. Hydraulic sealing is ensured by standard NBR seals (series A) or, upon request, FPM seals (series V).
The system uses filter elements from the CU900 series (size 1000), developed in strict compliance with DIN 24550 standards. Internal fluid dynamics provide a flow direction from the outside to the inside of the cartridge (from OUT to IN). The range of filter media is highly diversified: it includes inorganic microfiber (with filtration ratings from 3 to 25 µm), wire cloth (from 25 to 90 µm), and specific 25 µm microfiber elements designed for water absorption. This dimensional and material variety enables excellent levels of operating fluid cleanliness.
For accurate monitoring and active system safety, the assembly includes several technical integrations. A steel bypass valve is provided with an opening pressure set at 0.35 MPa (3.5 bar), designed to relieve excessive pressure drop across the filter media. The units are also equipped with vent ports, necessary to prevent air from entering the system, and drain ports for fluid removal prior to maintenance operations. Completing the system, the installation of differential clogging indicators of visual, electrical, or electronic type is предусмотрed.
