The MP Filter Series RFEX is designed for in-line mounting on return lines, protecting the reservoir from contamination and reducing foam formation. It offers a maximum pressure of 16 bar and flow rates up to 260 l/min, making it ideal for light industrial and mobile applications. The exclusive patented MYclean FEX filter element, featuring polygonal geometry, ensures the exclusive use of original replacement parts, guaranteeing maximum reliability and consistent fluid cleanliness. Aluminum head and multiple connection options available.
The MP Filter Series RFEX represents a technical filtration solution for return lines, specifically developed to protect reservoirs from contamination generated within the system. Installation is designed for in-line mounting, strictly in a vertical position, a hydrodynamic configuration that helps limit aeration or foam generation inside the reservoir. The flow direction through the filter element proceeds from outside to inside (OUT to IN). These filters are ideally suited for light industrial applications and mobile equipment.
The core of this series is the exclusive MYclean FEX filter element. This connection interface features a special polygon-shaped geometry and a dedicated seal, technologies protected by multiple international patents (including Italian patent no. 102014902261205, European patent no. 3 124 092 B1, Canadian patent no. 2,937,258, and U.S. patent no. 20170030384 A1). This construction design physically prevents the improper use of non-original products, ensuring that the system operates exclusively with certified MP Filtri replacement elements. This engineered constraint ensures consistently high oil cleanliness levels and increases overall system reliability.
The RFEX series filters are engineered to withstand a maximum working pressure of 1.6 MPa (16 bar). They support a test pressure of 2.4 MPa (24 bar), with a minimum burst pressure set at 4.8 MPa (48 bar). The structure provides excellent fatigue resistance, with pulsation tests certified for 1,000,000 cycles from 0 to 16 bar.
The construction materials include:
The permitted operating temperature range is from -25°C to +110°C. The system can be configured without a bypass valve (Style S) or with a bypass valve set to open at 0.175 MPa (1.75 bar ±10%) to limit excessive pressure losses (Style B).
The range covers maximum flow rates up to 260 l/min and is divided into four main variants, distinguished by size, weight, and volume:
Female threaded connections are available up to 1 1/4″, while SAE connections are available up to size 1 5/8″. NPT and G thread connection options are also available.
The filter elements (Execution N for differential pressure of 8 bar) are available in different media materials to achieve the required cleanliness level:
To monitor clogging conditions, the series includes connections for visual pressure indicators (with manual or automatic reset), electrical indicators, and electrical/visual indicators, configurable in both axial and radial positions. Additionally, an external protective housing optimizes fluid dynamics through the element and preserves its structural efficiency against improper handling.
